Monday to Friday - 09h00 - 17h00
This will be an Expedition trip, please click on link above to ensure you are familiar with what this means. We will meet at Portsmouth ferry port on the Friday night to catch the Santander ferry arriving Saturday at around 5pm when we will head to a local campsite. On the Sunday we will head south to Salamanca, which hopefully we should be there by about 2pm, This will allow us to visit this well known city in the afternoon.
Each day we will leave camp at 09.30 hrs and be traveling about 60-70 miles per day on as many trails as possible (depending on timings),
allowing for a number of stops at towns and local attractions. Our destination for Friday will be Braganca in Northern Portugal giving us the option to cross the Pico Europa mountains heading
back to Sanatander for the Sunday afternoon ferry. If we find a suitable area there will be wild camping (see wild camping). This route has been planned but never done, so this is a guide and may change once on-route.
Please be aware we expect some trails will be overgrown and rocky.
